Delivery and Returns

At Doon The Watter our aim is to dispatch your order within 24 hours of your order being placed. Please note, however, that any time or date stated for delivery is an estimate only. Doon The Watter makes every effort to dispatch goods on time, but does not accept liability for failure to deliver within the stated times.

We offer several delivery options to suit your needs:

Pick Up In-store - FREE

UK Delivery Orders over £50 (3-5 days) - FREE

Royal Mail Tracked 48 (2-4 days) - from £1.95 - £3.65

Royal Mail Tracked 24 (1-2 days) - £5.75

Next Day Special Delivery - £9.95 (incl.weekend delivery)

Option 1: Pick Up In-Store - Free of Charge - the goods can be ordered and paid for online and collected at our Dunoon Shop at no additional cost.

Option 2: Free UK Shipping - Orders sub-totalling £50.00 or more will be delivered to you free of charge to any address located in the UK, and normally within 3-5 working days

Option 3: Standard Delivery TRACKED 48 £1.95- £3.65 -To any address located in the UK. Normally delivered within 2-4 working days.

Option 4: Express Delivery TRACKED 24 flat rate of £5.75- Anywhere in the UK. Orders placed before 12:30 pm will usually be delivered next day. Some remote rural areas may take one day longer.

Option 5: Next Day 1pm Guarantee - flat rate of £9.95 - Anywhere in the UK. Orders placed before 3pm week days and by 11am Saturday will be delivered the following day including Sundays.

Shipping costs indicated above are for all UK deliveries. Shipping times may vary depending on shipping destination. If the goods purchased are not able to be dispatched within the timescale indicated then we will notify you. Delivery times quoted are estimates based on availability and normal delivery time in working days.

If Doon The Watter is unable to deliver the goods within 30 days of the date of order, the Customer will be entitled to cancel the order and require any monies paid to Doon The Watter in respect of that order to be refunded. In order to cancel, the Customer must send written notice of cancellation to Doon The Watter after the above date, but before delivery of the goods or notification from Doon The Watter that the goods are ready for delivery. Doon The Watter does not accept liability for shortages or damage to deliveries unless the Customer notifies Doon The Watter of the shortage or damage in writing within 7 days of receipt of the delivery.

The customer has to accept the goods when they are ready for delivery.

Delivery is deemed to take place when the goods are delivered to the Customer's nominated address, whereupon the risk of loss, breakage and all damage and all other risks shall pass to the Customer.

Title of the goods does not pass to the Customer until payment is received in full by Doon The Watter.

If the customer cannot accept delivery, Doon The Watter may at its option: (1) store and insure the goods at the Customer's expense and risk or (2) sell the goods at the best price reasonably obtainable and (after deducting reasonable storage insurance and selling costs) pay to the Customer any excess over the sale price or charge the Customer for any shortfall or (3) re-arrange delivery provided that Doon The Watter may charge the Customer for the additional delivery costs incurred.

International Delivery

We will happily ship your goods to most destinations world wide. The flat rates listed below are considered sufficient to cover the cost of most international deliveries (up to 2kg) however we reserve the right to charge an additional delivery charge for heavier items or where the shipping address is considered to be remote by the nominated courier service.

For EU and International orders - delivery time in usually between 5-10 working days but is dependent on the nominated courier's normal delivery service times from the UK to the given Shipping Address.

International Shipping Rates

EU Flat Rate (Up to 2kg): For addresses within the European Union the normal charge for delivery starts from £3.95.

Rest of World Flat Rate (Up to 2kg): normal charge for delivery starts from £9.95 (outside the EU)

Note: Please note that in some cases you may be liable for taxes when the goods arrive at customs within your country, please contact your customs department for more information.

Force Majeure

Where, in spite of its reasonable efforts, Doon The Watter is unable to perform an obligation due to force majeure, it shall not be deemed to be in breach of its contract with the Customer.

We are confident that you will love the products you purchase from us online, but, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchases then we will be happy to accept returns up to 30 days from receipt of your order.

We recommend that you email us at website@doonthewatterdunoon.co.uk and let us know the reason for the return and we will advise the best way to proceed.

We understand that when shopping online things can appear different to what they are so we will assist you with exchanges or replacements if required.

Send the returning items in their original packaging and in a re-saleable state to the following address:

Please note: If returned items were purchased with the free delivery option then a standard shipping charge will be applied to the order prior to refund being processed.

You will receive a refund within 5 days of the goods arriving back to us.

If the goods are damaged or defective then you must report this to us within 72 hours of receipt of the order. You can do this in writing via email to: website@doonthewatterdunoon.co.uk.

Unless the goods are damaged we are unable to provide a refund or exchange on: Personalised Gifts; Unsealed Toiletry Products, Reusable Face Masks or some items of Jewellery (such as earrings) due to hygiene reasons.

In the unlikely event that goods are damaged in transit we may require the goods to be returned to us. In some circumstances we will accept photographic evidence as proof of the damages but we reserve the right to ask for the goods to be returned even if photo evidence is submitted.

We will refund the cost of return postage in the case of damaged/defective items (you must provide proof of receipt for delivery charges). Otherwise you will be responsible for the cost the delivery of returned goods.
